1: Read Terms & Conditions

First read the terms and conditions of your national organiser:

2: Select a Document

Select one or more documents that inspires you from our gallery

The applicants are encouraged to include extra documents related to the topic, which can also be from the National Archives partners´ databases or APE - Archives Portal Europe.

3: Submit a Video Proposal & Project Description

Potential filmmakers should send in:

A project description which should include a memo of the intentions and creative basis of the project, reasons for choosing certain documents, introduction of the idea, treatment and sample of the storyboard if it is animated.

A short proposal video in which the director explains the project.

in order to give us the input we need to choose which documentary or documentaries should be funded by our project.

Winner Selection

In each country, a jury appointed by the national organiser will select one or two of the documentary ideas that are presented.

Calendar

Application dates: 15th June to 31st October 2021

Application Deadline: 31st October 2021, 23.59h.

Participation at encounter in Cork 20 – 22 April 2022.

The production should be finished by 1 September 2022.
